Essential Information
and Guidance
The Trump Gold Card is a visa based upon an individual’s ability to provide a substantial benefit to the United States. To apply, an applicant must pay a nonrefundable, $15,000 DHS processing fee. Once an applicant’s processing fee is received, the process for petition approval and visa adjudication will take place on an expedited basis, assuming applicants submit any additional documents or fees in a timely manner. A $1 million gift upon completion of the individual’s vetting is evidence that the individual will substantially benefit the United States. An individual may also need to pay small, additional fees to the U.S. Department of State depending on his or her circumstances.
The Trump Corporate Gold Card is issued to a corporate sponsor for one or more of the sponsor’s employees. To apply, the corporate sponsor must pay a nonrefundable, $15,000 DHS processing fee per employee. Corporate sponsors may apply for multiple employees at once. A $2 million per employee gift upon completion of the employee’s vetting is evidence that the employee will substantially benefit the United States. The advantage of the Trump Corporate Gold Card is that corporate sponsors may cease sponsoring one employee and use the gift contribution tied to the prior application as a basis for sponsoring a new employee, without a new $2 million gift. The Trump Corporate Gold Card is subject to a small, 1% annual maintenance fee and a 5% transfer fee, which includes the cost of a new DHS background check. Small additional fees to the U.S. Department of State may also apply depending on each employee’s circumstances.
As appropriately determined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and subject to availability, a successful applicant receives lawful permanent resident status as an EB-1 or EB-2 visa holder.
Applicants must be eligible for lawful permanent resident status, admissible to the United States, and a visa must be available.*
*A small number of countries may have wait times of up to a year or more based on visa availability.
Yes. If an individual applicant or corporate sponsor wishes for a spouse or unmarried children (under 21 years old) to join the cardholder in the United States, then each such family member should be included as part of the initial application. This will ensure that these family members receive all of the privileges conferred by the Gold Card Program, including expedited processing. Each family member is subject to an additional $15,000 DHS processing fee and $1 million gift.
The Trump Gold Card is a visa; therefore, national security and significant criminal risks are a basis for revocation.
Applicants should submit their online Gold Card applications and initial processing fees through this website. The Department of Homeland Security will then begin the applicant’s vetting process. Upon successful vetting, the applicant will be asked to submit a gift to the United States to demonstrate his or her ability to provide a substantial benefit to the United States. Following the approval of an EB-1 or EB-2 visa, an applicant can obtain legal status as a permanent resident in the United States. To ensure timely processing, applicants should be on the lookout for further instruction from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services once they submit their online Gold Card applications. Via email, USCIS will instruct applicants to create a myUSCIS.gov account. USCIS and the U.S. Department of State also may require additional information to be submitted as necessary.
This is the portal to manage all activity around immigration. It’s where you can track your application status and upload documents, as appropriate.
Applicants should create a myUSCIS.gov account following instructions from USCIS. Applicants should check their myUSCIS.gov account for updates. The U.S. Department of State may also contact applicants directly.
Once an applicant’s processing fee and application are received, the process should take weeks. The applicant will need to attend a visa interview and submit any additional documents in a timely manner.
$15,000 nonrefundable processing fee: Credit Card (U.S. and international); ACH debit (U.S. bank accounts only).
$1 million or $2 million gift payment (depending on type of applicant): Upon receiving an email after vetting is complete, applicants or their corporate sponsors should instruct their banks to use an ACH debit or Swift Wire Transfer (U.S. and international bank accounts) according to the instructions provided at that time.
Visa-related fees: The applicant will receive information directly from the U.S. Department of State on how to submit the visa application fee and payments for the required medical examination.
As with all U.S. citizens and permanent residents, applicants will be subject to U.S. tax, including on non-U.S. income.
The Trump Platinum Card will allow individual applicants to reside in the United States for up to 270 days per year without being subject to tax on non-U.S. income. No more travel visas.
The Trump Platinum Card has not yet been released. Applicants should join the waitlist now to ensure that they can be processed immediately after the Trump Platinum Card Program goes live!
